Current Projects

Weba sings songs of stark beauty - with an exquisite sense of vocal theatre and a sound palette that moves between avant-garde and bossa nova. Accompanied by cello, percussion, vibraphone and guitar, Weba sings about memory, love and loss in songs that are like stills from an old film. Her performances have both the softness of Brazilian jazz and the sultry, sharp devastation of Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill.
