One of the members of SHRIMPS was Martin Kersels. After leaving SHRIMPS, Martin completed his MFA in Fine Arts at UCLA and began to develop a large body of work that has attracted much critial acclaim. Several of Martin's pieces have included music soundtracks composed by Mark Wheaton. The first was Objects of the Dealer (with Soundtracks) in 1995. The Objects piece was originally shown at the Dan Bernier Gallery in LA and has since traveled as part of a retrospective show put together by the Madison Art Center.. The catalog for that show included a CD of the Objects soundtracks.There are a limited number of the CDs available. Email us for details.

Martin and Mark also have collabortated on a piece for the Lobby of the Whitney Museum in New York for the 1997 Whitney Biennial Exhibition
